Biography
Tyler earned his Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics with a custom concentration in topology and geometry from the University of California, Berkeley. While there, he founded the Give a Paw program, which provides prosthetics for disabled animals in the Bay Area. He has previous research experience spanning microfluidics at the University of Louisville, 3D printing and optics at UC Berkeley, and mycology research flown as an experiment aboard the International Space Station. His interests lie at the intersection of mathematics and 3D printing, particularly when it relates to making personalized healthcare more accessible.
